Bishop John C. Williams, Jr. “God’s Man of Faith and
Power”, is a multi-gifted National and International
preacher, motivational speaker, singer, musician and
entrepreneur who operates under a prophetic anointing.
A fourth generation Apostolic, Bishop Williams is the
elder of two children born to Kay Blaine-Williams and
J.C. Williams, Sr. At an early age he was introduced to
holiness through the loins of his Apostolic
grandparents, Pastor Elroy and Essie Williams,
developing a love for God and the church.
It was through their preaching, teachings and saintly
lives that at the tender age of five he repented of his
sins and went down in water in Jesus Name coming out
speaking in tongues. His destiny begins to take its
course. It was during those formative years that God was
laying the foundation for his future as a leader.
As a child he began to sing, and conduct tarry services,
preaching to his sister and cousins, farm animals and
friends.
Bishop Williams attended the Halifax County Public
School system, gaining great popularity, as a man of God
with an exuberant personality. It was during those years
that he began to study voice, winning competitions,
talent shows while learning to play the piano and organ.
After graduation he moved to Winston-Salem, North
Carolina with the intentions of furthering his
education. It was there, that phase two of God’s will
was revealed for his life.
In September of 1989, under the pastoral care of Apostle
Lawrence G. Campbell, and the Bibleway Churches of Our
Lord Jesus, Bishop Williams was officially introduced to
ministry, although he had been preaching for many years.
There he served as organist, lead singer, soloist, altar
worker and armor bearer.
On April 5, 1997, Bishop Williams was united in holy
matrimony to Dr. Eula P. Williams. Bishop Williams
worked diligently and faithfully along side his wife as
co-Pastor of EBCM. He also served as Minister of Music
and director of church choir, Bible Class instructor and
the Pastor’s armor bearer when necessary.
In October 2005, he was appointed the Pastor and Bishop
of El Bethel Cathedral Ministries with his wife Dr. Eula
Payne-Williams who serves as Overseer in South Boston,
Virginia. There he works in every facet of the ministry.
He also serves as the Minister of Music and personal
armor bearer of Bishop Clarence E. Moore of the 28th
Episcopal Diocese of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the
World, Inc.
